About Bradley Vinson

Practical grief education shaped by lived experience, ministry, and real-world care.

I help people, families, churches, caregivers, and organizations respond to grief with compassion, clarity, and courage.

My work is rooted in lived experience, decades of ministry, and a simple belief: no one should have to navigate loss alone.

The heart behind the work

Grief Became Personal.

I don’t teach grief from a distance.

In 2016, my four-year-old granddaughter, Alanna, died in a tragic accident.

Like any family facing an unimaginable loss, we found ourselves trying to make sense of something that could never truly be explained. The grief was overwhelming. The questions were endless. The pain touched every part of our lives.

That experience changed me forever. Losing Alanna gave me a perspective no textbook, certification, or training program could ever provide. It taught me what grief feels like from the inside.

Today, that experience continues to shape everything I teach, write, and share. My mission is simple: help people feel less alone, better equipped, and more supported as they navigate life’s hardest moments.

Experience That Meets People Where They Are

For decades I’ve walked alongside people through some of life’s most difficult moments.

Through ministry, chaplaincy, leadership, and grief support, I’ve learned that people don’t need perfect answers in the face of loss. They need compassion, understanding, and practical tools that help them move forward.

That’s the foundation of everything I teach today.

My Approach to Grief Education

I don’t believe in quick fixes, grief timelines, or pressure to ‘move on.’

Instead, I help people find language for what they’re experiencing, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and take meaningful next steps forward without pretending the loss didn’t matter.

Grief deserves honesty. Healing requires support. My goal is to provide both.

Practical Tools for Real-Life Grief

Over the years, I’ve developed several frameworks designed to help different audiences navigate grief with confidence, clarity, and compassion.

For people on their own grief journey who need a practical path toward healing.

The HELP Method

For adults supporting grieving children with honesty, patience, and love.

3

Grief-Ready Teams

For workplaces and leaders who need to stabilize teams after loss.

4

Walking with the Wounded

5

6

Books & Resources

For readers who want steady guidance they can revisit at their own pace.

What makes my work different

Grief often feels chaotic.

People are flooded with emotions, uncertainty, and questions they never expected to face. Leaders, caregivers, and organizations frequently want to help but don’t know what to say or do.

My goal isn’t to make grief smaller.

My goal is to help people feel more capable inside it.

I combine the compassion of someone who is living through profound loss with practical frameworks that help people move from uncertainty to meaningful action.

Because grief doesn’t need more clichés.

It needs understanding, language, and support.

Beyond the Stage

I’m a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and grief educator who believes no one should have to navigate loss alone.

Everything I teach is shaped by both professional experience and personal loss, with one goal in mind: helping people find understanding, support, and hope in life’s hardest moments.
