What is the GRIEVE Method?

GRIEVE is an acronym. Each letter represents a step in the healing process:

G – Grace for those not grieving- and yourself
R – Relinquish Control
I – Invest in Your Healing
E – Express Yourself & Engage With Others
V – Visualize Your Healing
E – Enjoy Life

This isn’t theory. This is a framework I developed as a chaplain, a grief educator, and a grieving grandfather who had to learn how to breathe again after losing my granddaughter Alanna.

The GRIEVE Method book is a compassionate, faith-rooted roadmap for those navigating life after loss.

This book walks you through 7 practical steps to process your grief, rebuild your life, and move forward with purpose—without minimizing the pain of what you’ve lost.

What’s Inside:
• 7 action-based steps rooted in truth, compassion, and lived experience
• Tools to express your grief in healthy, honest ways
• Encouragement to release guilt and rediscover joy
• A faith-filled approach to hope and healing
